I haven't experimented much with online duels, as i've personally only been doing story mode. I hadn't played Yu-Gi-Oh in a long ass time, but playing this game got me hooked back into it again. Originally posted by Ryokenshin:It's honestly not a terrible game. Though there is probably a bit of stuff I missed out, but I definitely think the game warrants a try or at least a look. I'd say at least probably try it out or something or at least look into it a bit to kind of get an idea about the activation pop ups to see if it's something you may be able to look past. You can get around this by holding the right mouse button in, but it can still get annoying at times. Because it will pop up almost during every single phase.

But that's the constant activation pop ups that come up when you have an effect monster, or a trap or a spell. There is one thing that personally really bothers me though and could get annoying depending on the person. So it's gonna take you awhile to probably get that deck that you really want. Once you get the duel challenge they'll have a more powerful deck, and when you beat them in a duel challenge you have a chance to get some of those more powerful cards that they have in their deck. This unlocks a duel challenge for a specific character. To do this though you have to beat all of the story mode with Yugi, and then beat all the reverse duels against Yugi. You can either spend points you get from dueling to buy packs hoping you get it out of the Yugi pack, or you can do a duel challenge with Yugi. Let's say for instance you want Graceful Charity for your deck, but Yugi pack and dueling Yugi are the only ways to get it.

The story mode is what you'll do to kind of get the cards you need to build your deck, and then there are duel challenges you'll need to do to get possibly a specific card you're looking for.
